IT ALL BEGAN WITH ‘LOUISE’…
One lonesome evening a female character decided it was time to emerge from the darkness and tell her story. It started small, with small traits and mannerisms, when her best friend randomly appeared. And then a man in black that stole her heart, right as another made it flutter a little too hard.
And suddenly, Louise was born.
Hi, I’m Leia…
And I’m autistic. Sounds like a confession at AA. Autistics Anonymous. Authors Autistic. Perhaps we should start a club?
Anyway, I’m the voice behind all of the characters in all of the stories you’re about to fall in love with.
I fell in love with books from a young age, always trying to hide behind the pages of incredible stories that got my blood pumping (yes, think Goosebumps, Stephen King and Are You Afraid Of The Dark). As I got older, I started reading romantic suspense thrillers, loving the excitement that kept the pages turning.
I was born in England, and now live in Alberta with my amazing husband and my little buddy of a German Shepherd called Hemi. And when I’m not writing, I’m either riding horses, watching rodeo slack, trying to perfect my clumsy roping or working on yet another project car with the husband.
So if you like romance, suspense, cowboys, rodeos and a little trauma thrown into the mix, you’ll love my Country Hearts series!

COUNTRY HEARTS & MORE…
It didn’t stop with Louise...
As soon as Louise’s story had been told, so many other stories appeared. From team ropers and bronc riders, all the way through to Matt MacLewland needing to find his place in the world.
And so, the Country Heart series was born.
But from the characters in the Country Heart series, other books and series have started to emerge. From dusty dirt roads and rodeo arenas, to performance horse ranches and oil fields.
These are all works in progress, and you’ll have to hang tight if you want to see what else I have in store for you all.
