MEET THE AUTHOR

Hi, I’m Leia and I’m an autistic author with Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome. I (mostly) write contemporary Western romantic suspense/thriller stories that feature cowboys, rodeos, and road trips spanning across North America.

I fell in love with books from a young age, always trying to hide behind the pages of incredible stories that got my blood pumping (yes, think Goosebumps, Stephen King and Are You Afraid Of The Dark). As I got older, I started reading romantic suspense thrillers, loving the excitement that keeps the pages turning.

I started writing when I was struggling to find books that really pulled me in, with one of the main characters developing so quickly, I just couldn't help but tell her story. And it’s been never ending since then.

I live in Canada with my husband, Dan, and my German Shepherd, Hemi. And when I’m not writing, I’m either riding horses, attending rodeos, practicing my roping or working on yet another project car with my husband.
